Product and Domestic Appliance Engineering Analysis Services
TriVista provide expert engineering analysis services for the Consumer Product & Domestic Appliance Industry
Consumer product and domestic appliance manufacturers both have similar aims in attempting to create new innovative products at an acceptable cost to the customer and being the first to market. In achieving this, manufacturers face the pressures of: reducing development times; including the latest features and ensuring that the product or appliance delivers its function over its expected lifetime. For appliances, a reputation for reliability is vital but customers also expect products to be user friendly, consume less energy and emit less noise.
Modern engineering analysis provide a significant advantage by enabling product developers to: evaluate alternatives; identify and optimise the best design solution and identify problems in the early stages of development when changes are less costly. Engineering simulation can provide a valuable insight on the operation of a product.
Over the years, TriVista has performed engineering design and analysis projects on a wide range of different consumer products and domestic appliances such as: kitchen blenders; ovens; waste disposal units; furniture; window controllers; power tool attachments, camera accessories, domestic water tanks, beauty product packaging, board games, musical instruments, central heating accessories (separators), tools, window assemblies, solar panel supports, domestic HVAC and fire alarms. Our engineering team routinely work with clients in providing realistic solutions of genuine commercial interest.
Many different product engineering analyses have been performed by TriVista using FE analyses and these have typically been to: evaluate stress levels and deformation on individual parts or large assemblies under operational, assembly, thermal growth, shock or vibration loads and life predictions. CFD analyses have typically been undertaken to evaluate the product performance (mixing efficiency, flow and temperature distribution, pressure loss, particle deposition and removal) under operational loads for those products involving flow. At the request of the client, we have also evaluated direct performance comparisons versus competitor products to help provide better understanding on differences and making improvements.
TriVista uses the market leading ANSYS software tools. If you would like to know more please feel free to call or email (contact details below). Our experienced engineers will be happy to advise you, without obligation. Alternatively, you may prefer to use our simple enquiry form.
