TriVista Engineering Limited started as a new company in the Sussex Innovation Centre (SINC) located on the University of Sussex campus in December 2001. We were based at the Sussex Innovation Centre for 16 years and this has proved to be a very good and flexible location for our growing business. During this period, TriVista has been successfully established as engineering consulting business provided services to many clients nationally and abroad.
TriVista had various collaborative projects with other tenants at the centre over these years as well as also assisting certain university departments, university staff and other companies located on campus with engineering analysis and mechanical design projects. On occasions, we have also been able to obtain assistance from University staff having appropriate expert knowledge in certain specialist project areas. Several lectures were presented by TriVista staff in recent years to both local Sussex and Brighton Universities in providing students and staff with insight into the practical application of modern engineering analysis tools and future trends in analysis as observed by TriVista as industrial users.
The Sussex Innovation Centre has also been a good location for TriVista in employing graduates and postgraduates from both local Sussex and Brighton Universities and we have also provided work placements and work experience to circa 20 engineering and product design students over these years.
The Sussex Innovation Centre is an incubator for innovative technology businesses and as a mature tenant we have been encouraged to ‘graduate’ in making space for new start-ups companies. TriVista is therefore relocating from the Sussex Innovation Centre to Newhaven Enterprise Centre from 1st November 2017. We would like to thank all the SINC staff (past and present) who helped us over the years. We wish the Sussex Innovation Centre all the best for the future. We made many friendships with Sinc staff and other tenant companies in this time and invite you to visit TriVista in the future at our new location below:
