TriVista presented an article in the Business Edge magazine edition 83 [March/April 2025] Page 15 on ” Manufacturing Outsourcing to China.’ This magazine issue produced by the Sussex Chamber of Commerce was focused on Business without borders.
TriVista’s Mr Wu detailed how China now had a comprehensive set of manufacturing industry clusters supported by strong manufacturing capabilities and efficient infrastructure that could be used to give British companies a competitive advantage.
He indicated that while many established channels existed for off the shelf products from China when it came to bespoke products it was more difficult. Most Chinese manufacturers only have basic English at greeting level but when there are technical requirements to be explained then communication can become difficult.
TriVista have found over the last 20 years that many of the manufacturer’s engineering or workshop floor staff do not have an English understanding that makes the technical communication and engineering drawing interpretation especially difficult.
TriVista outsourcing services have Chinese speaking engineering staff that enable it to translate drawings and communicate directly and effectively with Chinese manufacturers to resolve manufacturing issues.
